Craig Kaufman is a partner of TechKnowledge Law Group LLP, and is a trial lawyer with a practice that focuses on patent infringement litigation across a broad range of technology areas. Craig has extensive experience in both District Court litigation and before the U.S. International Trade Commission. In addition to his trial level practice, Craig is an experienced appellate practitioner, having argued seven appeals before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit, and having worked on more than 20 appeals throughout his career.
Prior to joining TKLG, Craig was a partner for more than 10 years at the global law firm of Orrick, Herrington & Sutcliffe. He also served as an Associate Solicitor representing the Commissioner of Patents and Trademarks before district courts and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit.

Acer Inc. Craig represents Acer in a number of patent infringement disputes in the U.S. Craig was lead counsel for Acer in disputes with Round Rock Research and St. Clair Intellectual Property Consultants, both of which settled favorably for the client. He was a member of the Acer trial team in an investigation brought by Hewlett Packard before the U.S. International Trade Commission.
ProMOS Technologies, Inc. Craig represents ProMOS in patent litigation it has brought against Samsung alleging infringement of a number of ProMOS patents.
Nanya Technology Corporation. Craig has represented Nanya in a number of patent infringement actions involving Nanya's DRAM products, including patent infringement actions brought by Elpida Memory, Inc. and Rambus, Inc
Intel Corporation. Craig represented Intel in cases involving flash memory and internet telephony.
Dow AgroSciences LLC. Craig represented the company and its affiliates, Mycogen Corporation, Mycogen Plant Sciences, Inc., and Agrigenetics, in a number of patent infringement cases involving the enforcement of patent rights to methods for making genes and inserting them into plants to make the plants insect-resistant, enforcement of patents on particular genes, and defense against infringement claims. Craig was a key member of the trial teams that won several important victories for DAS in these actions.
Compal Electronics, Inc. Craig was a member of the trial team that defended Compal against allegations of infringement brought by Samsung.
